Established in the year 2006, VOTC was started with the following vision:
To uphold the profession of occupational therapy in India and other developing countries through evidence-based service delivery, stakeholder education, training and research.
Since established, VOTC rendered OT services to children with various developmental disorders such as Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorder,Cerebral Palsy, & Intellectual Disability; and adults with various neurological, orthopaedic, & psychiatric dysfunctions.
VOTC has also been involved in advocacy activities to promote OT in India. VOTC has published monthly Therapy Newsletters since August 2009 to benefit stakeholders of the OT profession.
