VOTC Evidence Bytes

VOTC publishes Evidence Bytes to highlight research findings that have implications for occupational therapy practice in India.  This is an initiative to support OT practitioners in India.

The Evidence Bytes will:

Ø  Promote awareness of research evidence that have implications for OT practice in India

Ø  Highlight the data that validate and/or underscore the need for OT services in India

Ø  Promote visibility of the databases and journals that may contain articles that have implications for OT practice in India

Ø  Support Evidence-based Practice in India

What OT practitioners in India can do with the information highlighted through Evidence Bytes?

ü  Practitioners can cite the information in their presentations targeted to stakeholders

ü  Practitioners can use the data to support their business/practice in an ethical manner

ü  Practitioners can gain research ideas by reading the articles that identify the findings

ü  Practitioners/researchers can cite the information in their research papers/publications
